B09. CHECK DRIVING POSITION
MEMORY SYSTEM
a ) With the engine switch in the "IG-ON"
mode and the shift lever in "P" position,
check the operation:
1. Adjust the driver's seat, tilt and tele-
scopic steering wheel and outside
rear view mirrors to the desired posi-
tions.
2. While pressing the "SET" button,
press down the button "1", "2" or "3" a
beep is heard.
3. Check all buttons (1, 2 and 3) to make
sure that all memorized settings oper-
ate correctly.
b ) With the engine switch in the “OFF“
mode, close the driver’s door.
Check the driving position memory is re-
called when the driver’s door is un-
locked.
1. Record the driving position to button
“1“, “2“ or “3“.
Using the wireless remote control:
While pressing the button “1“, “2“ or “3“,
press unlock button on the wireless re-
mote control until the signal beeps.
NOTE:
To prevent triggering the alarm, open
the driver’s door soon after the unlock
button is pressed.
Using the door lock switch:
Do not carry more than one key (includ-
ing a card key*) when recording. While
pressing the button “1“, “2“ or “3“, press
the lock or unlock side on the door lock
switch until the signal beeps.
2. Check the driver’s door is unlocked
using the entry function or wireless re-
mote control, the driver’s door is
opened, and the stored driving posi-
tion is recalled.
