F06. CHECK ECT AND 2ND
START SWITCH INDICATOR
LIGHTS
Check that the indicator lights come on
when the switches are selected.
Power mode
Normal mode
2nd start mode
a ) ECT (Electronic Controlled Transmis-
sion)
The "ECT PWR" indicator light will illumi-
nate when the "PWR" mode is selected.
b ) 2nd START
The "2nd STRT" indicator light will illumi-
nate when the "2nd STRT" mode is se-
lected.
F07. CHECK 4-WHEEL DRIVE
SYSTEM
a ) Four-wheel drive control switch
Park the vehicle and move the shift lever
to the "N" position. Then, check that the
indicator lights turn on when the four-
wheel drive control switch is turned to
the "L4" position.
“H4“ (high speed position)
“L4“ (low speed position)
b ) Center differential lock/unlock switch
Check that the indicator lights and multi-
information display come on when the
switch is pressed.
