7-2. Steps to take in an emergency

When trouble arises
■ Remove
1 Fold forward the seatback of the
third seat (P.142)
2 Stow the deck board (P.516)
3 Remove the deck board
Pull the deck board towards you and
remove it. The clips are left remaining on
the luggage room side.
4 Remove the 12-volt battery cover
■ Install
1 Install the 12-volt battery cover
2 Align the positions of the 3 clips
with the deck board shown in the
illustration
3 Install the deck board
Firmly push at position in the illustra-
tions to secure the deck board.
