Operating with the steering switches (Type A)
Some hands-fr
ee call functions can be operated from the steering switches, such
as receiving or making calls. The steering switch functions change depending on
the status of the multimedia system.
● Operate the switches as necessary.
[＋] switch
Increases the ringtone volume or re-
ceiver volume.
Press and hold to adjust continuously.
[-] switch
Decreases the ringtone volume or re-
ceiver volume.
Press and hold to adjust continuously.

Calls can be made using v
oice command.
To end voice command, press and hold the talk switch.

● When the multimedia s
ystem shows a screen other than the phone screen,
displays the history screen.
● When the multimedia system shows the phone screen with [

ed,
makes a call.
● When the multimedia system shows the phone screen with [
] not display
ed,
displays the history screen.
● While making a call or during a call, ends the call.
● While receiving a call or during call waiting, answers the call.

Apple CarPlay or Andr
oid Auto phone screen on the multimedia system.
● While Apple CarPlay and a hands-free phone are connected, press [
] to dis-
play the Apple CarPlay or multimedia s
ystem phone screen. The function that was
used last is prioritized. If neither has been used, the primary device is prioritized.
● While Android Auto and a hands-free phone are connected, press [
