Driving the vehicle
1 With the brake pedal depressed,
shift the shift position to D.
Check that the shift position indicator
shows D.
2 If the parking brake is set, release

3 Gradually release the brake pedal
and gently depress the accelerator
pedal to accelerate the vehicle.
