When trouble arises
The child-protector lock may be
engaged.
Open the door from outside the vehi-
cle and disengage the child-protector
lock. (P.68)
Vehicles with a power back door:
1 Using a flathead screwdriver,
remove the cover.
To protect the cover, place a rag between
the flathead screwdriver and the cover as
shown in the illustration.
2 Loosen the screw and turn back the
cover.
If the rear doors cannot be
opened from the inside
If the back door cannot be
opened
The back door can be unlocked
from the inside.
