handshaking

determine

correct

nections.

controller

SUPPRESSION
The
primary
sources of
electrical
interference
(EMI
)
that
can
lmpact
any
microprocessor
controller
are inductors
most commonly
found
as
coils
and
windings rn
relays,
transformers and
solenoids
or
arcs resulting
from
weldlnt
equfpment
or across
opening
contacts.
It is important
to suppress
any
potential for
electrical
nojse
at
its source
to ensure reliable
operation
of controllers
and
other
electronlc
equipment.
If a
particular
application
causes
the controller
to act
strangely,
the
entire
system must
be evaluated
for noise
producers
and
suitable
suppression
devices
