4. Trouble Shooting

Purpose
Restarting of the compressor when it does not properly work.
Condition for Generation
① The compressor current exceeds the standard at initial starting.
② The compressor current does not reach the standard at initial starting.
③ The compressor frequency does not reach the standard at initial
starting.
Expected
Causes
Installation &
Overload
Closing of SVC valve, under/over charging with refrigerant, infiltration of
water into refrigerant, outdoor device shielding, outdoor fan fault, EEV
valve fault, and sensor fault or assembling error
Compressor
Open/Short of the coil in the compressor, insulation breaking between
the coil in the compressor and the sash, damage of compressor with
abrasion, and compressor connection fault
PCB
Assembly
IPM parts fault, compressor current detection circuit fault, and DC link
detection circuit fault
Others
Input of abnormal power, IPM connection fault, and power connection
fault
