On the settings screen, tap Security.

Customise the following settings:
• Screen lock: Customise lock scr
een settings.
• Automatically lock: Automatic
ally turn off the screen when the
device is left idle for a specified period of time.
• Power button instantly locks:
Instantly lock the screen when the
Power/Lock key is pressed.
• Lock screen message: Displ
ay message on the lock screen.
• Smart Lock: Select trusted items so that if one o
f them occurs, the
device is automatically unlocked.
• Encrypt phone: Set the de
vice password for privacy. Create a PIN
or password to enter each time the device is turned on.
• Set up SIM card lock: Lock or unlock the SIM c
ard, or change the
password (PIN).
• Make passwords visible: Displ
ay a password as you enter it.
• Device administrators: Allow pr
ivileges to restrict the control or
use of the device to particular apps.
• Unknown sources: Allow the install
ation of apps from non-Play
Store apps.
• Storage type: Displ
ays the current storage type.
• Trusted credentials: Displ
ay trusted CA certificates.
• Install from internal storage:
Tap to install a secure certificate.
• Clear credentials: R
emove all certificates.
• Trust agents: View and use trust agents installed on the de
vice.
• Screen pinning: Fix the app scr
een so that only the currently active
app can be used.
• Apps with usage access: View details on usage o
f apps on the
device.
