This document is an owner's manual for an LG Washing Machine, providing detailed instructions for operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting. The manual is available in both English and Hindi.
Function Description:
The LG Washing Machine is designed for washing, rinsing, and spinning clothes. It features a twin-tub design, allowing for separate wash and spin cycles. The machine is equipped with various controls to customize the washing process, including a Wash Timer, Wash Selector, Drain Selector, Water Selector, and Spin Timer. It also incorporates a "Soak Function" for better cleaning by allowing detergent water to penetrate the clothes' inner pores. The machine has a "Rat away feature" to reduce damage from rodents. Mobility is provided through manual intervention, with wheels for easy movement.

- Washing Process:
- Set the drain selector to "Wash - Rinse."
- Set the water selector to "WASH."
- Fill the wash tub halfway to the desired water level.
- Add appropriate detergent and laundry.
- Select the wash selector to "GENTLE," "NORMAL," or "STRONG" based on laundry type and quantity.
- Set the desired wash time using the Wash Timer.
- After washing, set the drain selector to "Drain" to empty the water.
- Rinsing Process:
- Continuous Water Supply Rinse: Set the drain selector to "Wash - Rinse," put laundry in the wash tub, open the water tap, and set the rinse time with the wash timer while continuously feeding water.
- Interim Spin Rinse: Put laundry in the spin dryer basket, place the safety cover horizontally, set the water selector to "SPIN," open the tap for about 1 minute (adjusting flow to prevent overflow), turn off water, close safety covers, and set the desired spin time.
- Spinning Process:
- Place laundry evenly in the spin dryer basket, press it down lightly, and place the safety cover horizontally on top.
- Close the spin dryer cover.
- Set the spin timer according to the type of clothing (e.g., 1 minute for thin fabrics, 5-10 minutes for sheets/towels).

- Energy Saving Course: Instructions include using "H" water level, filling water until it flows from the drain hose, not selecting soak time during wash/rinse, rinsing in the wash tub only, and inputting detergent directly into the wash tub before clothes. Specific time selections for wash, rinse, and spin are provided for rated capacity, half capacity, and remaining half capacity loads.
Maintenance Features:
- General Cleaning: Clean the washing machine with a mild liquid detergent. Avoid abrasive cleaners or chemicals like benzene or thinner, as they can damage painted surfaces and plastic parts.
- Lint Filter Cleaning: Pull out the lint filter, turn the net over, rinse with water, and refit until a click sound is heard.
- Magic Filter Cleaning: Pull out the magic filter, open the back cover, pull out the inner filter, remove lint, rinse with water, and place the filter back in its original location.
- Overflow Filter & Rotation Filter-C Cleaning: Lift area A of the overflow filter, pull out the rotation filter-C, pull the overflow filter forward, turn the net over, rinse with water, and use a brush or hand to remove lint. Reinsert both filters. If only the rotation filter-C needs washing, follow specific steps.
- Pulsator Cleaning: If objects get caught in the pulsator, remove the pulsator cap, unscrew the central screw, lift the pulsator to remove the object, then replace the pulsator and cap.
- Detergent Box Cleaning: Pull out the detergent box, press its side and rotate downwards, then clean with water.
- Spin Dryer Basket Cleaning: If clothing gets trapped between the spin dryer basket and spin tub, hold the safety cover-1 and the tub, pull the safety cover-1 upward, remove the clothing, and securely close the safety cover-1.

- Water does not enter washer: Check if the water tap is open and not frozen.
- No draining: Check if the drain hose is laid down and not twisted.
