STEAM WASH
Use this course to wash and sterilize very dirty clothes or underwear.
It washes effectively with a small amount of electricity. Do not load delicate clothes such as wool or silk, and clothes easily discolored.
Please note!
High temperature steam in the STEAM function dissolves detergent well.
If the door is opened during the STEAM washing, residual steam may still come out from the steam spray nozzle.
Do not get your hands or part of your body near the spraying steam. You may get burned from the steam heat.
While the STEAM function is selected, if you press the WASH button or dial the course selector knob, the STEAM function is cleared.
If you press the STEAM button right after the POWER button, the course is automatically set for the ‘COTTON/NORMAL’ course, washing func-
tion ‘NORMAL’ and spin speed ‘HIGH’.
Since the STEAM function highly enriches washing by powerful steam, even though it looks like no water inside the drum it is being washed
normally.
Although the spraying steam inside the drum may not be seen during the STEAM wash, powerful steam is washing in fact.
The sound ‘shhhhh’ during the STEAM wash is the sound of steam spray, and not a failure.
Dial the Course Selector
Knob for the desired
course.
You may change the set SPIN speed
and the number of RINSE cycles by
pressing the SPIN and RINSE buttons
accordingly.

Press the STEAM
button.
The STEAM function is automatical-
ly selected for the SPEED WASH,
BABY CARE, SPORTSWEAR,
ALLERGY CARE and STEAM
CLEANING courses.
The water temperature is not select-
able.

Press the
POWER
button.
Load the laundry and close the
door.
Add detergent and fabric softener
and then close the dispenser drawer.
Refer to page 10 for the amount
of detergent.

Press the
START/PAUSE
button.
Then, it locks the door, supplies
water, and starts washing.

SOAK WASH function
Use this function to clean the laundry with old stubborn dirt. It starts the main wash after soaking for 60 minutes.
Dial the Course Selector
Knob for the desired
course.
You may change the water temperature,
number of rinse cycles and spin speed
by pressing the buttons accordingly.

Press the WASH
button and select
SOAK WASH.
It displays SOAK wash on the LED panel.
This function is only selectable for the
COTTON/NORMAL, COLD WASH,
BOILING CARE, SILENT WASH and
HEAVY SOIL courses.

Press the
POWER
button.
Load the laundry and close the door.
Add detergent and fabric soft-
ener and then close the dispenser
drawer.
Refer to page 10 for the amount of
detergent.

The drum rotates intermittently for soaking all of the laundry better.
