Removing and Replacing the Air
Filter
NOTE
• Do not bend the air filter, as it may break.
• Assemble the air filter properly to prevent dust
and other substances from entering the
appliance.
Type 1
1 Turn off the power to the appliance.
2 Locate the knobs of the air filter on the top
front of the appliance.

3 Pull the knobs upward slightly and then lift the
entire filter to remove it.
4 Insert the hooks on the air filter into the slots
on the back of the front panel.
5 Push the hooks down until they click into place.
6 To make sure the filter is assembled properly,
press down along the entire front length of the
filter.
Type 2
1 Turn off the power to the appliance.
2 Open the front cover.
• Lift up both sides of the cover slightly.
