Lookfor acare labelon your clothes.Thiswill tell you about the fabriccontentof your
garmentand howitshouldbe washed.
2. Sorting
Togetthebestresults,Sortclothesintoloadsthatcanbewashedwiththesamewashcycle.
Watertemperatureandspin speedanddifferentfabricsneedto bewashedin differentways.
Alwayssortdark colorsfrom palecolors andwhites.Washseparatelyas dyeand lint
transfercan occurcausingdiscolorationof whiteetc. If possible,do notwash heavily
soileditemswith lightlysoiled one.

3. Check before loading
• Combine large and small items in a load. Load large items first. Large items should not be more
than half the total wash load.
Do not wash single items. This may cause an out-of-balance load. Add one or two similar items,
• Checkall the pocketsto makesure
that they areempty.Thingssuch
asnails,hair clip, matches,pens,
coins,and keys can damage both
yourwasher andyourclothes.
• Closezippers,hooks, andstrings
to makesure that theseitemsdon't
snag onother clothes.
• Pre-treatdirtand stainsby
brushinga littledetergentdissolved
inwater ontostainslikecollarsand
cuffs to helpshiftdirt.
