The dispenser works by directing water to flood various
compartments. Note the main and pre-wash hoses enter at an angle.
Operating them simultaneously causes water to dispense the
softener. Water may also pass through the wash compartments, but
since the detergent has already been dispensed, it doesn’t matter.
