My Cricket: Access billing, make
a quick payment, view usage, and
access support from the palm of
your hand.
Visual Voicemail: Quickly view,
access, and play back your voicemail
messages. Easily save important
numbers to your Favorites list and
respond to messages by calling back
or texting.
Cricket Wi-Fi Manager: Helps you
save your high-speed data by seeking
out free and open Wi-Fi
®
hotspots
whenever you’re near them. Also
remembers your favorite Wi-Fi hotspots
and connects you automatically.
Cricket does the searching so you
can do the saving.
Deezer: Listen on-the-go with ad-free
streaming music, download your
favorites to your phone, and get
customized playlists based on your
preferences.
Touch screen
Using the touch screen
Use your fingertip to lightly
touch the screen.
Tap, drag, or slide your finger
up, down, left, and right on
the touch screen to perform
different functions.
To return to the previous
screen, tap the Back key .
Press the Home key at
any time to return to the
main home screen.
Tap the Recent apps key to view and
access a list of apps you’ve recently used.
From the main home screen, slide left to access
applications on your phone.
Notifications panel
View a quick summary of alerts
on your phone, such as new
messages, emails, calls, and
software updates with the
Notifications panel.
Swipe down from the top of
any screen to access the
Notifications panel. Swipe
down a second time to reveal
additional options.
Clear individual notifications
by swiping left or right on the
alert, or tap Clear to remove
all notifications.
Swipe to pull down the notifications panel twice.
Tap Edit to customize the Notifications panel.

Getting to know your
LG X charge
Phone setup
Inserting the nano-SIM and microSD
cards
1. Insert the tray eject tool
into the hole on the
nano-SIM card tray
and pull the tray out.
2. Place the nano-SIM
and microSD cards
(sold separately)
in the tray with the
gold-colored contacts
facing down.
3. Carefully slide the tray back into place.
4.
Charge your phone with the included charging
adapter and cable. Please note the battery is
non-removable.
Email
Email setup
1. Swipe left from the main
home screen, and then
tap Email .
2. Select an email provider.
3. Enter the email address
and password, and then
tap NEXT.
4. Once your email has
synced with your phone,
tap DONE. You can now
read and send emails.
Create and send an
email message
1. Swipe left from the main
home screen, and then
tap Email .
2. To compose a new message,
tap Compose .
3. Tap the Toeld and enter
an email address or name,
or tap Contacts to
select a contact from
the address book.
4. Enter a subject and message.
5. To attach files, tap ATTACH
and follow on-screen instructions.
6. Tap SEND.

Apps on Google Play
Access Google Play
1. From the home screen, tap
Play Store .
2. Use your existing Google
account to log in, or
create one following the
on-screen instructions.
Navigate Google Play
Find apps, games, and more
in the Play Store.
1. Tap a category to browse
popular apps, games,
movies, and music
organized by popularity
or category.
2. Tap the search bar at the
top of the screen to search
the Play Store for a specific
game or app.
3. To install, tap the app
and follow the on-screen
instructions. Once installed,
you will see an alert in the
Notifications panel. Open
the app from this notification
or by swiping left from the main
home screen and locating it on
a secondary home screen.
Personalize
Customizing home screens
Personalize your home screen
with widgets and wallpapers.
Tap and hold a blank part of
the home screen to access
customization options.
Browse widget options by
swiping to scroll through, and
then tap or drag an item to
add it to a home screen.
Go to the home screen
settings and select type of
home, wallpaper, screen swipe
effect, and layout options.
Organizing home screens
To move a widget or folder,
tap and hold it, and then
drag it to a new location.
To delete a widget, tap and
hold and then drag an item
to Remove .
To uninstall downloaded apps,
tap and hold and then drag
an item to Uninstall .
To create a folder, tap and hold an icon and
drag it on top of another icon.
To rename a folder, tap it, tap the folder name,
and tap the Folder nameeld to bring up the
keyboard.
Camera and video
Take a picture
1. From the home screen, tap
Camera .
2. Tap Settings to adjust
your camera settings, such
as timer, grid, or resolution.
Zoom in and out by
pinching/spreading
two fingers on the screen.
3. Tap Shutter or press
the Volume up/down key
to take a photo.
Take a video
1. In camera mode, tap
Camcorder to
automatically start recording.
2. Tap Stop recording
to end recording. You may
also pause a recording and
continue later by tapping
Pause
> Resume
and capture photos while
recording by tapping .
Send a picture or video
After taking a picture or video, tap Share now to
instantly share your image via Messaging. The Share
now icon will change per your most recent Quick
Share choice. You can also swipe Share via for
more options such as Bluetooth
®
, Email, and other
social platforms.
View pictures and videos
1. From the home screen, tap Gallery .
2. Tap an album, and then tap an image or video.

Make a call
1. From the home screen, tap
Phone .
2. Select an option to place
a call.
Use call waiting
With call waiting, you can
take two calls at once.
1. While on a call, you will
hear a tone if another
call comes in.
2. Tap Answer and swipe in any
direction to receive the call.
Your current call will
automatically be placed on
hold, and both calls will be
listed on screen.
3. Simply tap a call in the list
to make it active.
Check voicemail
1. From the home screen, tap Phone .
2. From the Dial tab, tap Voicemail .
Unique LG features
Create memos with
QuickMemo
®
+
1. Swipe left from the main
home screen, and select
the Tools folder. Then tap
QuickMemo+ .
2. Tap to add a new memo,
or to take a photo to add
text or draw on the image.
Set up Knock Code
®
1. Swipe down twice from the
top of the screen and access
the Settings icon .
2. Go to General>Security>
Lock screen> Select screen
lock and then tap
Knock Code.
3. Tap NEXT.
4. Tap the quadrants on the
screen to set your unlock
pattern and follow steps
to set up a backup PIN
and confirm.
Wake up your screen
with Knock On

While the phone is in sleep mode,
tap the screen twice with your finger.
Text and picture messaging
Send a text message
1. From the home screen, tap
Messaging .
2. Tap Compose to begin a
new message.
3. In the Toeld, enter a
number or a contact
name, or tap Contacts
to select a contact from
the address book.
4. Tap the Enter messageeld
and enter your text.
5. Tap Send.
Send a picture message
1. Follow steps 1- 4 above.
2. Tap Attach .
3. Tap Image and select
a picture, or choose
another file to attach.
4. Tap Send.
Battery and charging
The LG X charge comes with a 4,500 mAh non-
removable extended capacity battery that
provides up to 2 full days of battery.
Battery saver
Battery saver reduces the use
of features like brightness and
vibration when your battery is
low. Turn it on to get more life
out of your battery.
1. From the home screen, tap
Settings
> General >
Battery and power saving >
Battery saver.
2. Tap the on/off switch to turn
on Battery saver, then tap
Turn Battery saver on and
choose a level for Battery
saver to start.

The LG X charge supports Qualcomm

Quick Charge
2.0, a comprehensive suite
of battery management technologies that
lets your phone charge faster than phones
that use conventional charging methods.
To achieve full charging speeds, make sure your
device is charged with the included adapter.

To experience Cricket HD Voice, both callers must have a compatible
HD Voice capable smartphone and make the call over Cricket’s
LTE Network or a compatible network. Cricket’s LTE coverage is not
equivalent to its overall network coverage. HD Voice calls made on a
compatible device and on the LTE network may not experience an
HD Voice connection at times of network congestion. Other carriers’
networks may interoperate with Cricket’s LTE network to support an
HD Voice call.
Note: To set up corporate email, contact your IT
administrator.
Note: Both the battery and back cover are not
removable. Attempts to remove them could cause
a safety hazard and will void warranty.
Note: You will need to set up a payment method
in the Account folder in the Play Store options
menu to purchase apps.
