USING THE APPLIANCE
INSERTING THE BATTERIES:
1. Open the battery compartment lid on the bottom of the scale.
2. Insert 2 x AAA batteries into the battery compartment with the correct polarity.

Select the desired measurement unit in kg or lb.,

I. Only place the appliance on a hard, flat, dry surface. Avoid placing it on the carpet or on soft
surfaces.
2. Switch on the scales by pressing lightly with your foot or toes on the surface and wait a few
moments.

3. "0.0" will appear on LED. Step with both feet onto the scale. The display will flash for a few
moments, then stabilizes and displays the weight.

AUTOMATIC SWITCH OFF:
The device will turn off automatically if no operation is detected for about 10 seconds.
i NOTE:In casethe weight liesabovethe allowedmaximumweight the signalof error "Err" will
appear on the LED display.
CLEANING
I. CAUTION: Do not immerse the scale in water: the electronic components can be damaged.
