Q: WHO SHOULD NOT USE THE INFRAGLOW
A: Women who are pregnant or breastfeeding, people who have cancer, and
people who suspect they may have cancerous lesions should not use the
InfraGlow.
Consult your physician before using the InfraGlow if you take steroid
medication or receive steroid injections, if you recently had surgery,
injections or enhancements, or if you have a tattoo in the treatment area.
Consult your physician or dermatologist before using the InfraGlow if you
have a conditions that may make you sensitive to light such as with Lupus,
some forms of eczema, light-induced migraines, albinism, rosacea.
Consult your physician before using the InfraGlow if you take medication
that makes you sensitive to sunlight (photosensitivity), including some
antibiotics, chemotherapy drugs, and diuretics; or if you use products that
may cause photosensitivity, such as citrus essential oils, St. John’s Wart,
antibacterial soap, coal tar and petroleum products.
We strongly recommend everyone perform a skin sensitivity test before
using the InfraGlow.
Q: HOW DOES RED LIGHT THERAPY HELP LOSE FAT AND INCHES?
A: Near-infrared (NIR) light can reach fat cells up to 1.5 inches below the
surface of the skin. NIR wavelengths help breakdown stubborn fat cells,
allowing them to enter the bloodstream and from there be eliminated via the
body's normal waste-removal processes.
Q: WHAT IS IRRADIANCE (LIGHT INTENSITY) ?
A: Irradiance is a measurement of the light intensity output by an LED or
other light source. The InfraGlow is a high-irradiance device which means
you can effectively treat more areas at one time. The irradiance of the
InfraGlow was tested at:

Q: CAN I USE THE INFRAGLOW BULB IN ANOTHER LAMP?
A: Yes, the InfraGlow bulb fits any E27/E26 lamp with a screw-socket.
Q: WHAT AREAS CAN I TREAT WITH THE INFRAGLOW RED LIGHT
THERAPY LAMP?
A: You can use the InfraGlow on any area of the body except around or over
your eyes or eyelids, as the infrared light can damage your eyes. If you want
to safely experience the benefits of phototherapy on your face, check out
the VizaCure Light Therapy Mask on page 21 of this manual.
Q: HOW OFTEN CAN I USE THE INFRAGLOW?
A: We recommend 5–30-minute treatment sessions with your InfraGlow for
optimal results. We recommend using the InfraGlow 3–7 times per week,
depending on your wellness goals. Do not use continuously for more than
30 minutes, and wait at least 2 hours between 30-minute sessions.
Q: SHOULD I WEAR CLOTHING OVER THE TREATMENT AREA?
A: For red light therapy to work most effectively, it is best to wear the
InfraGlow directly against your skin. However, you may use the Infraglow
over light-colored, lightweight cotton clothing, if desired.
Q: HOW DO I CLEAN THE INFRAGLOW?
A: Wipe down the outside of the InfraGlow lamp with a soft, damp cloth as
needed. Never allow water or other liquids to come into contact with the
device. Do not use abrasive, corrosive, solvent, or chemical cleaners or harsh
detergents. Make sure to turn off, unplug, and allow the InfraGlow to cool
down before cleaning.
Q: HOW SHOULD I STORE THE INFRAGLOW?
A: Always store the InfraGlow in its box to prevent damage to the LED lights
and bulb.
Store the device in a cool, dry location. Do not store close to the ground,
walls, or roof. Do not store other objects on top of the InfraGlow as the
device could be crushed or damaged.
