Usage Features:
- Installation: The seatpost must be installed using the correct diameter corresponding to the bicycle frame. An appropriate tool is required to fasten the saddle support. Users must adhere to the minimum and maximum insertion heights indicated on the seatpost (minimum 100mm). Care should be taken not to damage the LEDs during insertion. The lower two LEDs may be sunk into the frame if the seatpost is ridden low, but attention should always be paid to the maximum insertion depth. The taillight must be mounted to illuminate at the rear, with the reference axis (center LED #2) aligned parallel to the bicycle's longitudinal axis, at a 15° angle from the horizontal line of light.
- Control Switch: The control switch allows users to turn the light on and off and cycle through the different light modes (Chase, Flashing, Pulse, Continuous).
- Mode Change: A quick press of the control switch cycles through the modes. Pushing and holding the switch for 5 seconds allows switching between the 3-LED and 5-LED light modes.
- Charging: The integrated lithium-ion battery is charged via a 2.0 USB charging cable connected to a port under the seatpost. The seatpost should be removed from the bicycle for charging. The 3rd LED flashes with a low blue light during charging and stops flashing when fully charged. If the product becomes excessively hot during charging, the process should be canceled. Never charge the battery if the cable end is wet.
- Low Battery Alert: When the battery reaches a low charge state (approximately 1 hour remaining), the 3rd LED lights up blue, indicating that the battery needs to be charged.
- Malfunctions: If LED numbers 4 or 5, or both 4 and 5, are defective, it is permissible to switch to the 3-LED mode to conserve battery life.
Maintenance Features:
- Safety Instructions: Before riding, ensure the product is dry and free of moisture. After installation, test that the seatpost does not drop under load. Ensure the LEDs are not covered by bags or clothing during use.
- Product Integrity: Do not make any independent changes to the product or attempt to open it.
- Charging Precautions: If the blue LED does not light up or flash when the battery is fully discharged, charge it anyway.
- Warranty: The seatpost and light module come with a 2-year warranty from the date of purchase. For warranty claims (replacement or repair), contact the distributor from whom the product was purchased.
- Waste Disposal: The product packaging is made of recyclable materials and should be disposed of in appropriate collection containers. Old appliances and batteries must not be disposed of with normal household waste. According to EU Directive 2012/19/EU, the product must be disposed of properly at the end of its service life by returning it to a collection point for electronic waste or a recycling center.
- Air Travel: The product contains lithium batteries, which are subject to special conditions for air transport. Inquire with your airline or forwarding agent before transporting the device by air.
