THESE SCALES ARE INTENDED FOR STATIC WEIGHING
AND MUST NOT BE INCLUDED IN LIFTING GEAR!
Unpack the scale and remove all the packaging. Hang it on a
stable suspension device that is dimensioned appropriately for the
application (scale capacity + scale net weight + safety margin).
Make sure that all hooks, loops and shackles are fully intact.
Pull on the hook a few times.
If the weight indicator does not show “0”, adjust with the knurled
zeroing device (located on top of the scale).
NOTE:
The object being weighed must not be designed in such a way that
could cause damage or injury, for example due to the size of the object
making it difficult to hang or detach from the hook of the scale.
Make sure that the object being weighed can be securely attached to
the hook of the scale so that it cannot come off and cause damage or
injury.
The device on which the scale is attached must be designed and
dimensioned so that the scale and its load cannot come off and cause
damage or injury.
