regular basis.
OVERDRIVE CONTROL
Activating overdrive
(Overdrive) is the normal drive position for the best fuel economy.
The overdrive function allows automatic upshifts and downshifts through
all available gears.
Transmission control switch
The transmission control switch is
located on the gearshift lever.
Pressing the switch engages or
disengages the overdrive function,
and illuminates the O/D Off lamp
when overdrive is cancelled, refer to
the Automatic Transmission in the
Driving chapter.
