Slide Topper over the slide room using a tape measure.
9. Fasten the extension rods (Fig. 16A) to the access brackets (Fig. 16B) by installing two of the provided

Roll tube springs are under tension. Improperly secured roll tube springs can cause personal injury
and/or product damage. Slowly release spring tension to avoid personal injury and/or product damage.
#10 - 16 x 3/4” self-drilling hex washer head screws (Fig. 16C).
10. Firmly hold the roll tube, slightly turn back the roll-tube to relieve a little tension, then remove the spring
clips (Fig. 17A) on both sides to completely relieve the spring tension. Carefully release the roll tube and
allow the roll tube to rest into position.

Installing the Access Bracket Screw Cover
1. Slide the access bracket screw cover (Fig. 18A) into the grooves of the access bracket (Fig. 20B) to cover
the screw holes in the access bracket.
NOTE: Be sure the access bracket screw cover is aligned in the grooves and flat against the access bracket.
It is imperative to slide the access bracket screw cover into the grooves from the end of the access
plate. Do NOT attempt to snap the screw cover on to the bracket from the front, or force the screw
cover into the grooves.
