TRIPOD THREAD
The Lomo’Instant Automat comes with a standard ¼" tripod thread. To mount the
camera on a tripod, simply screw the tripod screw into the Tripod Thread 21 at the
bottom of the camera.
REMOTE CONTROL LENS CAP
The lens cap of Lomo’Instant Automat functions as a remote shutter release
via infrared transmission. There are two buttons on the remote lens cap, one
for Auto Shooting Mode and one for Bulb Mode. To use the remote shutter
release function, point the Infrared Transmitter rc1 of the Remote Control Lens
Cap towards the Remote Control Front Receiver rc5 or Remote Control Back
Receiver rc6 and simply press the the respective button on the lens cap for the
desired shooting mode.
e INSTANT Button rc2: in Auto Shooting Mode press the INSTANT Button rc2
for normal shutter release.
e TIME Button rc3: in Bulb Mode, press the TIME Button rc3 once to open the
camera shutter for exposure, then press the button once more to close the
camera shutter for the end of exposure. The maximum shutter speed in Bulb
mode is 30 seconds. If you want to expose longer than 30 seconds, you may
use the multiple exposure function to expose the same film multiple times to
accumulate exposure time. (For multiple exposures, please see chapter above.)
