WWaarrnniinngg ssyymmbbooll iinn rreedd : The warning indicator alerts
you that an important function is activated or that a
serious fault has occurred that may affect the vehicle's
drivability. The warning symbol can also illuminate in
conjunction with other indicators.
LLooww eennggiinnee ooiill pprreessssuurree : This indicator warns of low
engine oil pressure. If the indicator illuminates during
normal driving, find a safe place and stop the vehicle
immediately, contact a Lynk & Co Center for inspection.
SSRRSS aaiirrbbaagg ffaauulltt : If this warning indicator illuminates
during driving, it means a fault has been detected in
the front airbags, side airbags or inflatable curtain
and/or pre-tensioner systems. If this happens, contact a
Lynk & Co Center for inspection.
FFrroonntt ppaasssseennggeerr aaiirrbbaagg oonn : The front
passenger airbag is activated and adults
can sit safely in the front passenger seat.
Never sit a child on a booster cushion, in a
child seat or in a rear-facing child seat on the front passenger seat
if the airbag is activated.
FFrroonntt ppaasssseennggeerr aaiirrbbaagg ooffff : The front passenger
airbag is deactivated and children shorter than 140 cm
in a child seat can sit in the front passenger seat. It is
safer when the child is properly secured in the rear
seats.
SSeeaatt bbeelltt rreemmiinnddeerr : The indicator illuminates if the seat
belt is unfastened in the driver or front passenger seat.

Baatttteerryy cchhaarrggiinngg ffaauulltt : If this warning indicator
illuminates while the engine is running, it may indicate
the charging system is not functioning properly. Please
switch off all the unnecessary electrical equipments,
contact a Lynk & Co Center for inspection.

Brraakkee ffaauulltt : The warning indicator illuminates if there is
a fault in the brake system (e.g. low brake fluid).

Annttii--lloocckk bbrraakkiinngg ssyysstteemm ffaauulltt : If the warning indicator
illuminates when the engine is running or during
driving, there may be a fault in the Anti-lock braking
system. Contact a Lynk & Co Center for inspection.

Brraakkee lliigghhtt ffaauulltt : The indicator illuminates when there is
a fault in the brake lights system. Contact a Lynk & Co
Center for inspection.

Diirreeccttiioonn iinnddiiccaattoorr ffaauulltt : The indicator illuminates when
there is a fault in the direction indicators system.

Coooollaanntt tteemmppeerraattuurree : This indicator illuminates when
the engine is overheating. If this happens, turn off the
air conditioning and let the engine idle for a while. If the
indicator remains illuminated, stop the vehicle safely
and contact a Lynk & Co Center.
SStteeeerriinngg aassssiisstt ffaauulltt : The indicator illuminates when
there is a fault in the power steering assist system.
Contact a Lynk & Co Center for inspection.

To Deactivate: Press a second time to
switch off.
WARNING: If stopped for an
emergency, move the vehicle off
the road, switch on the hazard
warning lights and mark the
vehicle with other warning devices
as available to reduce the risk of a
collision.

Brake Lights
The brake lights are illuminated when
the brake pedal is depressed, also see
page 196.
Emergency Brake Lights
In the event of hard braking at road
speeds over 31 mph, sufficient enough
to activate the anti-lock braking
system, or, if the vehicle decelerates
suddenly, the emergency brake
light system is activated. The brake
lights start flashing instead of being
constantly illuminated. The brake
lights will return to being constantly
illuminated either upon driving away
or when the rate of deceleration
decreases. Also see page 197.
