Warning Symbol Illumination
Symbol Description
Malfunction
Illuminates amber. If
illuminated continuously whilst
driving, a fault in the vehicle’s
emission system is detected.
Reduce speed immediately
and seek Lotus Retailer
advice without delay. Avoid all
unnecessary journeys.
Flashes when a fault occurs
that could cause overheating
damage to a catalytic
converter. Slow down
immediately and prepare
to stop. If the lamp stops
flashing and is illuminated
continuously, proceed with
caution and seek Retailer
advice. If the lamp continues
to flash, stop the vehicle as
soon as it is safe to do so and
switch off the engine. Seek
Lotus Retailer advice.
WARNING: Continuing to drive the
car with the lamp flashing may
cause an engine bay fire.

Airbags
Illuminated red. If the lamp
remains illuminated or
illuminates whilst driving,
a fault in the airbag or pre-
tensioned seat belt system
has been detected, which
should be rectified without

is a fault in the suspension system. Contact a Lynk & Co

Wiippeerr ffaauulltt : The indicator illuminates when there is a
fault in the wipers system. Contact a Lynk & Co Center
for inspection.

SSppeeeeddoommeetteerr:: The speedometer shows the vehicle's speed.
FFuueell ggaauuggee:: The gauge shows the fuel level in the tank. The
average and instantaneous fuel consumption are also shown in
the right mode view area of the driver display (p. 72). Refuel as
soon as possible when the gauge becomes red (p. 218).
CCoooollaanntt tteemmppeerraattuurree:: The gauge shows the engine coolant
temperature.
TTaacchhoommeetteerr:: The tachometer shows the engine speed in
revolutions per minute (rpm).

The appearance of the gauges above vary depending on
the display theme you've selected.

Tire Pressure System
Illuminates amber when a
tire pressure is too low. If
selected as a widget option,
current pressure and
temperature information can
also be shown in the driver
display. Page 244.
If there is a fault in the tire
pressure system, the symbol
will flash for approximately 1
minute and then illuminate
with a constant glow
indicating that the system
cannot detect or warn of low
tire pressure as intended.

you that an important function is activated or that a
serious fault has occurred that may affect the vehicle's
drivability. The warning symbol can also illuminate in
conjunction with other indicators.
LLooww eennggiinnee ooiill pprreessssuurree : This indicator warns of low
engine oil pressure. If the indicator illuminates during
normal driving, find a safe place and stop the vehicle
immediately, contact a Lynk & Co Center for inspection.

SRRSS aaiirrbbaagg ffaauulltt : If this warning indicator illuminates
during driving, it means a fault has been detected in
the front airbags, side airbags or inflatable curtain
and/or pre-tensioner systems. If this happens, contact a
Lynk & Co Center for inspection.

Frroonntt ppaasssseennggeerr aaiirrbbaagg oonn : The front
passenger airbag is activated and adults
can sit safely in the front passenger seat.
Never sit a child on a booster cushion, in a
child seat or in a rear-facing child seat on the front passenger seat
if the airbag is activated.
FFrroonntt ppaasssseennggeerr aaiirrbbaagg ooffff : The front passenger
airbag is deactivated and children shorter than 140 cm
in a child seat can sit in the front passenger seat. It is
safer when the child is properly secured in the rear
seats.
SSeeaatt bbeelltt rreemmiinnddeerr : The indicator illuminates if the seat
belt is unfastened in the driver or front passenger seat.

Baatttteerryy cchhaarrggiinngg ffaauulltt : If this warning indicator
illuminates while the engine is running, it may indicate
the charging system is not functioning properly. Please
switch off all the unnecessary electrical equipments,
contact a Lynk & Co Center for inspection.
BBrraakkee ffaauulltt : The warning indicator illuminates if there is
a fault in the brake system (e.g. low brake fluid).
Contact a Lynk & Co Center for inspection.

Annttii--lloocckk bbrraakkiinngg ssyysstteemm ffaauulltt : If the warning indicator
illuminates when the engine is running or during
driving, there may be a fault in the Anti-lock braking

the engine is overheating. If this happens, turn off the
air conditioning and let the engine idle for a while. If the
indicator remains illuminated, stop the vehicle safely

there is a fault in the power steering assist system.
