Adaptive Cruise Control Limitations
The ideal optimal operation conditions
for adaptive cruise control are achieved
when driving on level road surfaces.
The system can experience difficulties
in maintaining the correct distance
from the vehicle in front when driving
down steep hills. The driver should
be extra attentive and ready to brake
under such conditions.
Also see page 124 for information on
camera and radar limitations.
