Operate the brake pedal several times to bring the pads into correct
operating position. Check that the pads ore free to move and that the
retaining pins are not fouling the pads.

Replace the road wheels, lower the vehicle to the ground, check the brake
fluid and top up
if
necessary. Tighten the wheel nuts to the specified
torque loading.
IMPORTANT:
After fitting new pads, care must be taken when braking; brake
several times from
50
mph
(80
kph) to
30
mph
(50
kph) and only
brake fully when system has cooled down.
If
brakes are applied
too sharply when new pads have been fitted, the surface of the
pods will burn and
irregular
braking
will occur, resulting in loss
of
efficiency.
