5. Air intake obstructed
The filter element is damaged, and the
air filter is blocked.
Replace the filter element or clean
the air filter.
The air intake pipeline is blocked.
Clean the air intake pipeline.
6. Black smoke
Reduce the load within specified
range.
The plunger spring of the fuel injection
pump is broken, or fuel delivery error of
cylinders exceeds the specified range.
Replace or repair the fuel injection
pump (Refer to Section 5, Chapter
3 of this Part)
The valve clearance is inappropriate.
Adjustment (Refer to Section 1,
Chapter 3 of this Part)
The valve spring is loosened or the
valve is not sealed tightly.
Replace the spring or grind the
valve (Refer to Section 4, Chapter
1, Part II)
Fuel supply
advance angle
The fuel supply advance angle is insuf-
ficient.
Adjustment (Refer to Section 1,
Chapter 3 of this Part)
The air filter element or air intake pipe-
line is blocked.
The fuel is atomized poorly, and there is
fuel leakage from the fuel injector noz-
zle.
Repair or replace (Refer to Sec-
tion 6, Chapter 3 of this Part)
