10. The engine oil is mixed with water
Cylinder liner,
sealing ring
The cylinder liner or sealing ring is
damaged.
The cylinder head gasket is damaged.
The cylinder head is damaged.
The cylinder block is damaged.
11. Abrupt increase in speed
The speed regulator is failed, and the tie
rod is stuck at the big fuel quantity posi-
tion, resulting in galloping.
Repair or replace (Refer to Sec-
tion 5, Chapter 3 of this Part)
Speed regula-

disk bushing
The Speed regulator sliding disk bush-
ing is stuck.
Repair or replace (Refer to Sec-
tion 5, Chapter 3 of this Part)
Serious ingression of engine oil into the
combustion chamber.
Reduce the engine oil quantity to
specified range or change the pis-
ton, cylinder liner, piston ring and
piston pin (Refer to the Chapter 1
and 2, Part II)
