E. Possible reactions
Possible adverse reactions to light from this appliance are relatively mild and of
a transient nature. They may include:
• Headache.
• Eyestrain.
• Nausea.
Measures to avoid, minimise or alleviate these adverse reactions:
• Always use the appliance in a well-lit room.
• Reduce the light intensity if these reactions occur.
• Stop using the appliance for a few days to make the reactions
disappear and then try again.
F. Safety
This device complies with the technical regulations and safety standards appli-
cable to electric medical devices and relating to exposure to electromagnetic
fields (EMC). However, portable and mobile radiofrequency communication
devices may affect the use of Luminette
®
. Therefore, they should not be used
near the device. All repairs and maintenance must be carried out by a specia-
list. Ask your supplier for advice.
To ensure the longevity of your Luminette
®
:
• Only use original accessories.
• Never immerse your Luminette
®
in water.
• Don’t wash your Luminette
®
in running water.
• Don’t leave your Luminette
®
in the sun, or in damp or dusty
conditions.
Attention!
• No modification to the device or its accessories is authorised.
• This device cannot be attached to an extension cord or a mul-
ti-socket adapter.
• Always use the device with the adaptor provided or any other compa-
tible system as specified in the manual.
• The adaptor constitutes the network dividing device and must always
be easily accessible.
• Be aware that the external envelope of the central case can reach a
temperature of 49°.

?
1. To treat SAD (Seasonal Affective Disorder)
