Pre-drill pocket for cable run

Determine where to drill for cable
access into pocket. See options below.
Cable should exit from wall, ceiling or
jamb on EDU side of pocket.
Note:
•
Hole diameter should be large enough to
allow adjustment of pocket during
installation without pinching the wire.
•
Leave 12 to 18 in (305 to 457 mm) of
cable exposed.
Wall
Drill for cable .5 in (13 mm) from
end of pocket and .5 in (13 mm)
from top of pocket.
Ceiling
Drill for cable .5 in (13 mm)
from end of pocket and .5 in
(13 mm) from back of pocket.
Jamb
Drill for cable 3.75 in (95 mm)
from top of pocket and 2 in
(51 mm) from back of pocket.
