WARNING
Always stop engine before refuel-
ing.
2. Have operator and passenger get
off vehicle.
WARNING
Do not allow anyone to remain in
the vehicle while fueling. If there is
a fire or explosion during fueling, a
vehicle occupant could be unable
to quickly leave the area.
3. Unscrew slowly the fuel reservoir
cap counterclockwise to remove it.

WARNING
If a differential pressure condition
is noticed (whistling sound heard
when loosening fuel reservoir cap)
have vehicle inspected and/or re-
paired before further operation.
4. Insert the spout into the filler neck.
5. Pour fuel slowly so that air can es-
cape from the tank and prevent fuel
flow back. Be careful not to spill
fuel.
6. Stop filling when the fuel reaches
the bottom of filler neck. Do not
overfill.
WARNING
Never top up the fuel tank before
placing the vehicle in a warm area.
As temperature increases, fuel ex-
pands and may overflow.
7. Fully tighten fuel reservoir cap clock-
wise.
WARNING
Always wipe off any fuel spillage
from the vehicle.
NOTE: Do not sit or lean on seat when
fuel tank cap is not properly installed.
