Make sure that oil reservoir and fuel tank caps are properly installed.
Tilt bed trailers can easily be equipped with a winch mechanism to af-
ford maximum safety in loading. Simple as it may seem, never drive
your snowmobile onto a tilt bed trailer or any other kind of trailer or ve-
hicle. Many serious accidents have resulted from driving up and over
a trailer. Anchor your vehicle securely, front and rear, even on short
hauls. Be certain all equipment is securely fastened. Cover your snow-
mobile when trailering to prevent road grime from causing damage.
Be certain your trailer meets state or provincial requirements. Ensure
the hitch and safety chains are secure and the brake, turn indicators
and clearance lights all function.
