Usage Features:

  • Sliding Door System: The enclosure features a sliding door (F) that allows for easy access and egress. The door runs on reversible rollers (G) in the top rail (A) and bottom guides (P) in the bottom rail (B).
  • Magnetic Strips: The sliding panel is designed to have magnetic strips that ensure a tight seal when the door is closed, preventing water leakage. Proper adjustment is crucial for full contact of these strips.
  • Splash Guard Ribbon: A splash guard ribbon (L) is inserted into the bottom of the sliding panel to further prevent water from escaping the enclosure.
  • Waterproof Profile: A waterproof profile (S) is used to seal the edges of the sliding panel, ensuring water containment.
  • Adjustable Components: Adjustment screws (O) are provided to fine-tune the position of the sliding panel and ensure proper alignment and sealing.
  • Guard Rail: The enclosure includes guard rails for added safety or functionality.

Maintenance Features:

  • Regular Disinfection: To prevent the buildup of bacteria and maintain hygiene, regular disinfection of the shower enclosure is recommended.
  • Daily Cleaning: For routine maintenance, use a moist cloth and a gentle liquid detergent.
  • Avoid Abrasives: It is crucial to avoid using abrasive cleaners, scrapers, metal brushes, or any other items or products that could scratch or dull the surface of the enclosure. This helps preserve the finish and integrity of the materials.
  • Silicone Application: Silicone is used during installation to seal various joints, particularly around the outside perimeter of the bottom rail and wall jambs. This sealant helps prevent leaks and should be allowed to set for 24 hours before using the shower. It is important not to apply silicone on the inside of the shower, between the base and the shower door, as this can cause water to be trapped under the rail, leading to potential leaks.

Installation Overview:

The installation process involves several key steps:

  1. Drain Assembly: Complete the drain assembly according to the instructions provided with the drain packaging.
  2. Assembly of Guard Rails: Drill holes, assemble the guard rails with braces and tapping screws, and apply silicone.
  3. Wall Assembly: Fasten wall panels to the shower base using screws, ensuring proper alignment and sealing.
  4. Wall and Shower Base Assembly: Secure the assembled walls to the shower base, ensuring the base is uniformly leveled and resting on its entire surface.
  5. Setting Up the Location: Prepare the bathroom location by opening the floor for the drain, fastening wood reinforcement pieces to the finished wall, and determining faucet locations. Ensure plumbing installation is complete.
  6. Installing the Shower in Its Location: Slide the assembled shower into place, drill holes through the upper lip of the walls, and fasten them with screws.
  7. Wall Jambs Installation: Position wall jambs, mark and drill holes, apply silicone, and fasten the jambs with screws.
  8. Fixed Panel Assembly: Assemble the fixed panel to the top and bottom rails, ensuring proper alignment and sealing with silicone.
  9. Fixed Panel Installation: Insert the fixed panel into the wall jambs.
  10. Sliding Panel Assembly: Assemble the sliding panel by installing decorative handle caps, splash guard ribbon, and waterproof profiles. Insert reversible rollers and bottom guides, ensuring the magnetic strips are in full contact.
  11. Final Adjustment: Close the sliding panel, adjust it for proper magnetic strip contact, and fasten the frame to the wall jambs.
  12. Sealing: Apply silicone around the outside perimeter of the bottom rail and wall jambs, and allow 24 hours for it to set before using the shower.

Important Notes for Installation:

  • All wood pieces must be fixed to a finished wall.
  • Ensure all wood pieces are level.
  • File the upper corner of vertical parts to facilitate shower installation.
  • Do not install upper reinforcement pieces (R) if the BJF option (041) is chosen.
  • Do not apply silicone on the inside of the shower, between the bottom rail and the shower base, as this will trap water and cause leaks.
  • The shower base must be uniformly leveled and resting over its entire surface.
  • Cut waterproof profiles carefully to avoid damage.
  • Rollers must point towards the center of the mobile panel.
  • Final adjustment of the sliding panel must be completed before silicone dries.
