HOW TO USE NOCTURNO®
Press the button “A”.
The LED (C1, C2, C3, C4) will switch on to a green
colour to indicate battery status.
The number of LED that are on informs the operator
of the battery level:
- 4 LED on approx. 100% charged;
- 3 LED on approx. 75% charged;
- 2 LED on approx. 50% charged;
- 1 LED on approx. 25% charged.
The treatment starts immediately after, for a preset
time of 6 hours (“UNIVERSAL” program).
The accessories must be connected to any one of
the 2 outputs “B1” or “B2” .
The total-body mat is especially suited for generalized
problems which involve multiple body parts: perform
the treatment lying on it.
During the therapy, the LED (blue color) alternative-
ly scroll forward and backward to indicate that the
cycle is being performed.
The “UNIVERSAL” program covers the entire range
of frequencies available for the High Frequency:
it therefore can be used with various pathologies,
both acute and chronic; this program is set on CON-
TINUOUS TIME of 6 hours, to perform prolonged
treatments, usually during night rest for comfort
purposes.
At the end of the preset time (6 hours), the device
automatically switches o.
If, instead, you wish to interrupt the treatment at any
given moment, all you have to do is keep button “A”
pressed for a long time (approximately 3 seconds):
the treatment stops and all the LED switch o.
In addition to the switching on the device (see the
start of this page), to check battery charge status
during the therapy, it is sucient to briey press
(approx. 1 sec) the “ON/OFF key: the green LED
will be displayed with the same percentage modes
described previously. This display will remain for
approximately 5 seconds, and then the status retur-
ns to the previous one (alternate blue LED).
It is important to remember that, once you have -
nished using NOCTURNO®, all the accessories must
be disconnected from the device power sockets and
stored away separately.
We recommend that you perform this operation by
pulling the connector and not the cables, because
they would otherwise get damaged in a short time.
The ElectroMagnetoTherapy (EMT) does not cause
particular sensations, because it is a wave and not
a current.
For this reason, it has a greater ability to penetrate
than other instrumental treatments, with conse-
quential therapeutic advantages.
It is normal that during the rst treatments, the
patient may perceive a light increase in the painful
sensation, especially if the eld goes to contrast an
area where inammatory processes are occurring. If
the painful sensation is bothersome and unbeara-
ble, we recommend that you temporarily interrupt
the therapy (for a few days), to then resume it and
nish it.

BATTERY AND RECHARGE
We once again emphasize that, after the purchase,
before the rst use of NOCTURNO®, the device must
be charged: insert (with the device o ) the power
unit into the electrical socket and then connect it to
the machine in output “D”.
When recharging, the LED “C1”, “C2”, “C3” and “C4”
ash together in green and, once the charging is
over (approx 4/5 hours), after a brief, faster ashing
sequence, they switch o as also the device.
During standard use, the instructions on how to re-
charge the battery are pretty much the same to tho-
se described above: use, with the device o, the spe-
cic external power unit supplied, to be connected
to the output “D” and to the network, until the green
LED switch o and the device automatically stops.
Once you have nished recharging the battery,
disconnect the external adapter: the device is now
ready to perform new treatments
Only the power unit supplied with
the device must be used.
During periods of device disuse, we recommend
that:
1. Before putting the NOCTURNO® away for
it to be stored, you recharge the batteries.
2. The batteries must at any rate be recharged
at least once every 3 months
3. Put the device to recharge when you
decide to reuse NOCTURNO®.
Failure to follow these instructions
compromises device functionaliry
and terminates validity of the warranty.
