CONTRAINDICATIONS
DO NOT USE IF:
• You have areas where the integrity of the skin is damaged (such
as burns, blisters, lesions, incision, wounds, active skin disease or
infection); are suffering from skin disease or inflammation of the skin,
have sensitive skin or an allergic constitution.
• You have a history of epilepsy or seizures.
• You have had recent surgery or other surgical procedures.
• You have any electronic implanted device such as cardiac pacemaker.
• You use a body-worn medical device, such as an insulin pump.
• You have any active cancer or have recently recovered from or had
treatment for any suspicious or cancerous lesions.
• You are pregnant.
• You are under the care of a doctor for any ongoing medical condition,
consult them before using this device.
• You have a known history of carotid artery disease, stroke or transient
ischemic attack (TIA), carotid stenosis, unstable blood pressure, easy
fainting, thyroid disease, or prior surgical procedures in the neck area.
• You have a tendency for bleeding following acute injury or breaks
in bones.
• You are wearing implants not compatible with its use.
• This appliance shall not be used by or on persons up to and including
14 years of age;
