Fuel Pump Drive
Description
The fuel pump gets energised once the ignition is turned ON and the main relay
gets energized

Feed pump relay - Open circuit
Feed pump relay - Short circuit to Vbat
Feed pump relay - Short circuit to Ground
DTC detection condition Probable cause
Normal Operation
• It gets energized after the igniation ON and
main relay is energized. If the engine is not
started in 30 second then it will be turned
OFF , but will restart when the engine is
cranked
Normal Operating Requirements:
• Ignition ON, Main relay ON
Malfunction
• Open Load
Reaction:
• No lamp
• No error code
• Open connector.
• Fuse blown.
• Pin backout
• Relay defective
