B1810 - Fuel Sender Open

FUEL SENDER

The fuel sender unit is fitted inside the fuel tank. The sender unit consists of a float connected to a

variable resistor. The resistance value changes based on the fuel level in the fuel tank

Normal Operation

During ignition ON , IC monitors the fuel sender resistance and

is within the range

DTC detection condition

 .Ignition ON

 The resistance of the fuel sender is out of range
