DIS VIN mismatch
VIN MISMATCH
During ignition ON, the DIS compares the VIN data received from EMS ECU thru CAN with the VIN data in
the EEPROM of the DIS . If the VIN data matches, no further comparison done and the system is fully
functional. If the VIN data is not matching within the calibrated time after ignition ON, the VIN mismatch is
registered
