STEP 1
Connect the smart tester
Turn the ignition ON
Initialise the diagnostic tool
Record the DTC and clear
Turn ignition OFF
Turn ignition ON
Verify if B300A is present?
Is B300A present?
Intermittent problem exists
Refer the intermittent problem
inspection procedure
STEP 2
Is the value = 11.0 to
14.5V?
STEP 3
Ignition OFF
DIS wiring harness connector
DISCONNECTED (C366)
Ignition ON
Check the voltage between pin
20 of C 366 and battery ground
Check the voltage between pin
10 of C 366 and battery ground
Is the value > 9 V?
NO
Ignition ON
Check the voltage between
battery positive and battery
negative
YES
Suspect the charging circuit
Check and confirm the proper
functioning of charging
circuit(Alternator & Battery)
Clear the DTC and verify
NOYES
NO YES
Suspect DIS malfunction
Replace DIS with a new one.
Check and verify for any new
DTC’s
Examine the short to ground or
in battery/ignition power
supply wires to DIS
Repair/replace the wiring
harness
Clear the DTC and verify
