DIFFERENTIAL OIL – CHECK & REPLACE
Differential Oil – MAXIMILE Elite.
Capacity – @ 1.8 Lit.
Recommended oil brand is Maximile Elite. The oil change interval has to be first at
10000kms & then 100000kms. Level and leak to be checked at 50000kms, 120000 kms.
For other than Maximile brand, the oil change interval has to be reduced to 20000 km if the
oil meets minimum of API GL-5 SAE 80W-90 specification.
Differential Oil – Replace. Refer illustration shown.
1. Remove the Filler plug [A]
2. Place drained oil collecting tray below the axle.
3. Remove the drain plug [B]. Allow the oil to drain out completely.
4. Clean the metal particles if any deposited on the drain plug. Assemble & torque tight the
drain plug with new washer – 47.5± 6.5 Nm.
5. Fill fresh transmission oil as per specified capacity & assemble the filler plug with new
washer and torque to 47.5± 6.5 Nm.
6. Check Oil leakage / seepage at –
• Differential covers joint face
• Differential Oil drain plug.
