Why is my Malibu Boats Wakesetter 22MXZ Boat engine hard to start?

  Several factors can cause a hard-starting engine. It could be due to: * A flooded engine: To resolve this, start the engine at full throttle and then back off. * A plugged flame arrestor: Clean the flame arrestor. * Fouled spark plugs: Replace the spark plugs. * Loose coil or ignition wires: Tighten the coil or ignition wires. * Battery cables that are loose or corroded: Clean and tighten the battery cables. * A weak battery: Charge or replace the battery.
