Personal safety:
- Do not touch metal parts when it is operating, as it may cause serious burns.
Use and care:
- Fully unroll the appliance’s power cable before each use.
- Respect the MAX indicator.
- Disconnect the appliance from the mains when not in use and before under-
taking any cleaning task.
- This appliance is for household use only, not professional or industrial use.
- This appliance is intended for adult use. Ensure that this product is not used
by the disabled, children or people unused to its handling.
- This appliance should be stored out of reach of children and/or the disabled.
- Do not put the appliance away if it is still hot.
- Only use water with the appliance.
- It is advisable to use distilled water, especially if the water in your area con-
tains clay or if it is “hard” (containing lime or magnesium).
- Turn the thermostat control to the minimum (MIN) setting. This does not mean
that the iron is switched off permanently.
- Do not use the appliance on any part of the body of a person or animal.
- Any misuse or failure to follow the instructions for use renders the guarantee
and the manufacturer’s liability null and void.
Instructions for use
Before use:
- Make sure that all the product’s packaging has been removed.
Fill with water (Fig 1):
- It is essential to have lled the deposit with water to be able to work with
steam.
- Open the lid of the lling mouth.
- Fill the compartment with cold water.
- Fill the deposit taking care to observe the MAX level.
- Close the lid of the lling entrance.
Use:
- Unroll the cable completely before plugging it in.
- Connect the appliance to the mains.
- The pilot light (D) will come on.
- Turn the thermostat control to the desired temperature position.
- Do not use temperatures higher than those indicated on the garments to be
treated.
* Temperature for synthetic bres.
** Temperature for silk and wool.
*** Temperature for cotton (minimum temperature for ironing with steam).
Max Temperature for linen.
- Wait until the pilot light (D) has gone out which will indicate that the appliance
has reached an adequate temperature.
- During use of the appliance, the pilot light (D) will come on and off automati-
cally, indicating the heating elements are working, and therefore maintaining the
desired temperature.
