The bright setting boosts the highs and cuts the lows considerably.

Harmonic enhancement.
The harmonic enhancement setting adds a spectrum of harmonics similar to that which you
might expect from a triode valve stage. The effect is dynamic, so that the louder you play the
more harmonics are added.
The following graphs show the amplifier output with a 1 kHz sine wave input. The harmonic
enhancement distorts the sine wave asymmetrically, indicating addition of even harmonics.
This is similar to a triode valve, however the Mambo Amp adds more 2
nd
harmonic than you
would get with a triode valve.
