Usage Features:
The Mandine MIC2101-17 offers two primary operating modes: HEAT stage (power-based) and TEMP stage (temperature-based), along with a timer function.
Getting Started:
- Plug the power plug into a suitable outlet.
- An acoustic signal will sound, and the ON/STANDBY control lamp will light up, indicating standby mode.
- In standby mode, the LED indicator will show "L" if the ceramic glass plate temperature is below 50°C, or "H" if it's above 50°C.
- Place suitable cookware in the center of the stove.
- Press the ON/STANDBY switch to turn on the induction stove. The control lamps "HEAT" and "TEMP(°C)" will blink. If neither "HEAT" nor "TEMP(°C)" is pressed within 30 seconds, the unit will return to standby mode.
A1. HEAT Mode:
- Press the "HEAT" key; the "HEAT" control lamp will light up.
- The preset power stage is "1200" (1200W).
- Available power stages range from 200W to 2000W (200, 400, 600, 800, 1000, 1200, 1400, 1600, 1800, 2000).
- Use the "+" / "-" keys to adjust the power setting at any time.
A2. TEMP Mode:
- Press the "TEMP" key; the "TEMP" control lamp will light up.
- The preset temperature stage is "120°C".
- Available temperature stages range from 60°C to 240°C (60, 80, 100, 120, 140, 160, 180, 200, 220, 240°C).
- Use the "+" / "-" keys to adjust the temperature setting at any time.
B. Timer Function:
- After selecting either HEAT or TEMP mode, press the "TIMER" key. The "TIMER" control lamp will light up, and "0" will appear on the LED display.
- Use the "+" / "-" keys to set the operating time. The time can be increased in 5-minute increments (up to a maximum of 180 minutes) or decreased in 1-minute increments.
- The time will count down in minute steps. The display will then return to the prior status (HEAT or TEMP). To view the remaining time, press "TIMER" again.
- Once the timer expires, an acoustic signal will sound, and the unit will automatically enter standby mode.
- To cancel the TIMER function, press the ON/STANDBY key to switch off and then restart the unit.
Suitable Utensils:
- Compatible Pans: Steel or cast iron, enameled iron, stainless steel, flat-bottom pans/pots with a base diameter of 12 to 24 cm. Cookware with an induction cooker compatible logo (e.g., 200000) and a 18/0 stainless steel base is also suitable.
- Non-compatible Pans: Heat-resistant glass, ceramic containers, copper, aluminum pans/pots. Rounded-bottom pans/pots with a base diameter less than 12 cm.
Maintenance Features:
- Clean the unit after each use.
- Disconnect the plug and wait until the unit has cooled down before cleaning.
- If pots/pans are used without being cleaned, discoloration or stains may occur.
- Do not use fuel, paint thinner, scrubbing brushes, or polishing powder to clean the induction stove.
- Wipe down the unit with a dishwashing agent and a damp cloth.
- Use a vacuum cleaner to remove dirt from the air intake and exhaust vent.
- Never run water over the unit, as water ingress may cause malfunction.
Error Code List:
If the LED display shows an error code, refer to the following solutions:
- "---" (with "Dee, Dee, ..." sound):
- Cause: Cookware without a magnetic bottom, or a bottom diameter less than 12cm.
- Solution: Use cookware with a magnetic and flat base (e.g., iron, cast iron, 18/0 stainless steel) with a base diameter of 12 to 24cm. The device will enter standby mode after 10 seconds without suitable cookware. Press ON/STANDBY to restart.
- Cause: After pressing ON/STANDBY, HEAT or TEMP key was not pressed to turn on the unit.
- Solution: Press HEAT or TEMP key to turn on the unit.
- E01:
- Cause: Voltage is under 145V.
- Solution: Check power supply.
- E02:
- Cause: Voltage is over 275V.
- Solution: Check power supply.
- E03 / E06:
- Cause: Accessory and spare parts are damaged.
- Solution: Contact the nearest authorized service facility for troubleshooting, repair, and adjustment.
- E07:
- Cause: The appliance is too hot (cooking temperature over 240°C).
- Solution: After the unit has cooled down (at least 30 minutes), it will automatically switch to standby mode. Press ON/STANDBY to restart.
- E08:
- Cause: Accessory and spare parts are damaged.
- Solution: Contact the nearest authorized service facility for troubleshooting, repair, and adjustment.
- E09:
- Cause: The bottom plastic temperature is higher than 90°C, causing the induction cooker to stop heating.
- Solution: The LED shows E09. When the bottom plastic temperature drops below 70°C, the induction cooker will return to the shutdown state.
