Neutral position
1. Stop the machine.
2. Move the switch to position (1).
Forward drive position
1. Stop the machine.
2. Move the switch to position (2).
Reverse drive position
1. Stop the machine.
2. Move the switch to position (3).
The reversing lights are on and the audible
reverse warning is on.

1. Get on the machine
2. Adjust the seat
3. Adjust the steering wheel
4. Fasten the seat belt
5. Release the parking brake
6. Power up the machine
7. Operate the gear selector to move forwards or
backwards

Positions (2) and (3) can be used without
switching on the ignition
Put the Switch in position (1) and the lever in central
position

The sidelights and the rear lights are on
Put the switch in position (3)
The headlights and the rear lights are on
Push the lever (4) upwards
The left hand indicator lights flash
Push the lever (4) downwards
The right hand indicator lights flash

Press on the desired windscreen wiper switch
The location of the switches may vary
depending on the options

Choice of Attachments
Only attachments approved by MANITOU can be
used on its lift trucks.
Make sure the attachment is appropriate for the
work to be done.
Make sure the attachment is correctly installed and
locked onto the lift truck carriage.
Make sure that your lift truck attachments work
properly.
