E9 - Controllare l’usura delle catene
esterne del braccio telescopico
- Sulle catene, l’usura si manifesta in vari
punti.
• Sulle articolazioni, il che si traduce in un
allungamento della catena.
• Sul profilo delle piastre per contatto
con le pulegge.
• Sulle superfici delle piastre e degli assi
sporgenti per contatto con le ganasce
delle pulegge.
• Sull’allineamento delle spalle degli assi
sporgenti.
Allungamento delle catene (E9.1)
Per questa operazione, vi consigliamo l’uso
del righello di controllo della catena (riferi-
mento MANITOU: 161583).
- Collocare il carrello elevatore sugli stabi-
lizzatori, con il braccio in orizzontale.
- Estendere completamente i bracci tele-
scopici e insistere per alcuni istanti sul
comando per tendere bene le catene.
- Se l’usura non è verosimilmente unifor-
me su tutta la lunghezza, suddividere la
catena in 4 parti uguali, ed effettuare un
controllo al centro di ogni parte utilizzan-
do il righello.
Oltre il valore maxi (228,6 mm +2% = 233,2
mm) [8,64 in +2%= 9,18 in], sostituire la cop-
pia di catene (consultare il concessionario).
E9 - Checkng the external chains
for wear
- Chain wear occurs at a number of loca-
tions.
• On the articulations, which leads to
elongation of the chain.
• On the edge of link plates through con-
tact with the pulleys.
• On the face of the plates and the exten-
ded pins through contact with the
pulley flanges.
• On the alignment of the flats of the
extended pins.
Chain elongation (E9.1)
We recommend that you perform this ope-
ration using the chain checking gauge
(MANITOU part No.: 161583).
- Set the lift truck on its stabilisers, with the
boom horizontal.
- Fully extend the telescopes and continue
operating the control for a few moments
to properly tension the chains.
- As the chain will likely wear unevenly
over its length, divide the chain into 4
equal sections and check with the gauge
at the centre of each sect
If the maximum dimension is exceeded
(228,6 mm +2 % = 233,2 mm) [8,64 in +2%=
9,18 in], replace the pair of chains (contact
your dealer).

E8 - Controlar el desgaste de las
cadenas exteriores del brazo
- El desgaste de las cadenas se produce en
varios sitios.
• En las articulaciones, lo que alarga la
cadena.
• En el perfil de las placas, por contacto
con las poleas.
• En la superficie de las placas y de los
ejes desbordantes, por contacto con los
carrillos de las poleas.
• En la alineación de los chaflanes de los
ejes desbordantes.
Alargamiento de las cadenas (E8.1)
Para esta operación le aconsejamos usar
la regleta de control de cadena (referencia
MANITOU: 161583).
- Colocar la carretilla elevadora sobre los
estabilizadores, con el brazo en horizon-
tal.
- Sacar completamente los telescopios e
insistir varias veces en el mando para
tensar bien las cadenas.
- Como seguramente el desgaste no será
uniforme en toda la cadena, dividirla en
4 partes iguales y realizar un control en
el medio de cada parte con ayuda de la
regleta.
Si superan la medida máxima (228,6 mm
+2% = 233,2 mm) [8,64 in +2%= 9,18 in],
sustituir el par de cadenas (consulte a su
concesionario).
