REPLACEMENT OF THE FILTER
- Open the front casing.
- Remove engine oil filter 3 discard the filter and the filter seal.
- Clean the filter bracket with a clean, lint-free cloth.
- Lightly lubricate the seal and refit the new oil filter (FILTER CARTRIDGES AND
BELTS) on its holder.
IMPORTANT
Tighten the oil filter by hand pressure only and lock the filter in place by a quarter turn.
FILLING WITH OIL
- Refit and tighten the drain plug1 (tightening torque 33 to 37Nm).
- Fill up with oil (LUBRICANTS AND FUEL) through filler hole4.
NB: For this operation, we recommend you use a funnel fitted with a hose.
- Wait a few minutes to allow the oil to flow into the sump.
- Start the engine and let it run for a few minutes.
- Check the drain plug and the engine oil filter for leaks.
- Stop the engine, wait a few minutes and check the level between the MAX and
MIN marks on the dipstick 5.
- Top up the level if necessary.
- Close the engine cover and the front casing.
REPLACE Fuel filter cartridge
IMPORTANT
Carefully clean the outside of the filter and its holder, to prevent dust from getting into the system.
- Open the engine cover.
- Close the fuel tap 1 in position B.
- Unscrew the retaining ring 2, remove the bowl 3 and clean inside using a brush
soaked in clean diesel.
- Remove and discard the filter cartridge4.
- Refit the assembly with a new filter and seal previously lubricated with clean diesel
(FILTER CARTRIDGES AND BELTS).
- Open the fuel tap 1 in position A.
- Bleed the fuel supply circuit (FUEL SUPPLY CIRCUIT).
- Check the fuel hoses and cable ties.
