14.5.4 Emergency operation with the hand-held control
If the power units no longer respond to the operating elements in the crane
cab, you can operate the power units with the hand-held control.
Operating them with the hand-held control is intended for emergencies only
and for bringing the truck crane into a safe state or to shut it down.
Prerequisites
– The ignition in the crane cab must be switched off.
– The ignition is switched off in the driver's cab.
Connect the hand-held control
• Connect the hand-held control to the
connector (1).
All power units can be operated from this
connection.

Starting the engine
• Press the button (1) once – the engine will start; à p. 10 - 10.

Danger of overturning due to deactivated monitoring function
The RCL is switched off and the crane operations are not monitored when
operating with the hand-held control. If you move into a critical range,
the truck crane will overturn.
