Why is my Manitowoc Ice Maker not working?

  If your Manitowoc Ice Maker isn't operating, several factors could be at play. First, ensure the unit is receiving electrical power by checking the fuse, resetting the breaker, or turning on the main switch. A tripped high-pressure cutout might also be the culprit, requiring you to clean the condenser coil. Confirm that Energy Saver settings or other custom programming aren't inadvertently halting the ice machine. Make sure the water curtain is correctly installed and swings freely. Verify the ice machine is powered on, with the display indicating “Making Ice”. For IB Models, check that the dispenser ice level thermostat is correctly adjusted.

  Your Manitowoc Ice Maker might not be operating due to several reasons: * There's no electrical power: Replace the fuse, reset the breaker, or turn on the main switch. * The high-pressure cutout is tripping: Clean the condenser coil. * Energy Saver mode is stopping the ice machine: Reset to factory defaults. * The water curtain is off or stuck open: Ensure the water curtain is installed and swinging freely. * The ice machine is not turned on: Press the power button; the display must indicate “Making Ice.” * For IB Models Only - The dispenser ice level thermostat is open: Adjust the thermostat to maintain the correct dispenser level.
