Low grip (ICE)
This mode should be used on
particularly slippery road surfaces
(e.g., rain, snow, ice). To activate/
deactivate this mode, press button Q.
When this function is active, the word
“ICE” illuminates on the display.
PARK OFF
This function disables the automatic
activation of the electric parking
brake (EPB) (see page 174). The EPB
is deactivated/reactivated by pressing
the R button.
ESC System
The ESC system activates automatically
every time the engine is started.
The system can be activated or
deactivated while driving by pressing
button S. To avoid deactivating the
system inadvertently, press and hold
the button for approx. 2 seconds to
deactivate the ESC system.
When the system is deactivated,
the dark yellow warning light
illuminates on the instrument panel
and on the display, where it is
accompanied by a specifi c message.
